Anyone under the age of 16 who lives or goes to school in Norfolk.
How can I save?
Members can save on a regular basis, whatever they can afford.
We expect that members will pay by cash but payment can also be made by Standing Order, Cheque or BACS. When a Club member reaches the age of 16 years, they become full adult members of the Community Bank.
Please note: Loans are not permitted until the saver reaches the age of 18 years. Adults may enrol their children or grandchildren and would act as joint signatories until the Young Saver reaches an age specified specified by the opener of the account, when the Young Saver will become responsible for running their own account. Before this the Young Saver, and the specified adult signatures are needed to withdraw from the account.
School Savings Groups
If any parent's group wish to start a Young Saver's Club at their local school
in the Wayland Area, we will be happy to offer out full support in starting up
such a club.
