If you should wish to join us as a volunteer at your local branch in Watton, you will be most welcome. All we ask is a minimum of 2 hours per month and you do not have to be a member of the Credit Union.

No previous experience is required and training will be in-house, but you do  need to be comfortable talking confidentially with others about their personal financial circumstances.

You have to sign a Confidentiality form, and in our branch you will normally work with another volunteer in a secure and comfortable office with coffee and tea available.

We are also looking for Parish Representatives who could liaise between their parish in the Wayland area and the office in Watton.

This post would be to promote our Wayland Community Bank, to arrange visits if wanted, recruit volunteers to work in our office and help your parishioners with advice on credit unions and the services we can offer.

You would not be required to make regular visits to our office, and access to the internet is not essential, although it would be useful.
